Research published in the Journal of Food Composition and Analysis, published by Elsevier, Atlanta, revealed that the nutritional value of certain frozen fruits and vegetables are generally equal to fresh produce.
The Frozen Food Foundation and the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), said they presented Dr. Linda J. Harris of the University of California, Davis, with an inaugural "Frozen Food Foundation Freezing Research Award."
