The company has signed an agreement with Carlton Power to study the development of a renewable green hydrogen plant at its Kitt Green manufacturing plant in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Combined, FreezPak locations in Carteret and Elizabeth, New Jersey are expected to generate 2,832,900 kWh (kilowatt hours) in their first year of clean electricity generation. 

Electrification, integrated shore power, embedded telematics and a lower-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant all contribute to Thermo King’s efforts in helping customers transition fleets to reduce their environmental impact and stay ahead of future regulation.
