This new role encompasses coordinating the execution of the Lifecycle Business Strategy, an initiative being launched to bring programs and services beyond equipment solutions to all customers across the Grote family of brands.
MULTIVAC officially opened its Training & Application Center for Slicing & Automation (TAC) at the company headquarters in Wolfertschwenden, Germany. The guests included Stephan Thomae, member of the Bundestag, Alex Eder, Chief Executive of the Lower Allgäu Regional District, and Beate Ullrich, Lady Mayor of Wolfertschwenden. After the guests had been greeted by Group Presidents, Guido Spix and Christian Traumann, the building was blessed by Father Thomas of the Parish of Bad Grönenbach, and Pastor Michael Kolbe of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Woringen. The guests were then guided through the building complex. The ceremony took place in accordance with the current COVID guidelines.
Amboy Group’s 110,000-square-foot facility is USDA, FDA and SQF 2000 Level 2-certified, and includes a fully automated temperature-controlled space that uses advanced, computer-controlled automated storage and retrieval systems and EMS storage technologies.

United Premium Foods (UPF), a Woodbridge, N.J.-based private investment group, purchased the Amboy Group, a Woodbridge, N.J.-based provider of quality meat and food products, out of bankruptcy.
