Private equity firm Brynwood Partners has acquired De Wafelbakkers from the Oklahoma Publishing Company, a subsidiary of the Anschutz Corporation. Terms and conditions of the deal are not being disclosed.
Since 2003, Brynwood Partners has acquired the Flipz, DeMet's Turtles, Treasures, Stixx, Juicy Juice, Bit O Honey, Nutrament and Joseph's Gourmet Pasta brands from Nestlé.

Brynwood Partners announced its newly-formed portfolio company, Buitoni Food Company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the North American Buitoni business from Nestlé USA, Inc. The transaction, which includes a 240,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia, is expected to close within the next 30 days, subject to customary U.S. regulatory review. Terms and conditions of the deal are not being disclosed.
Brynwood Partners VII L.P., Greenwich, Conn., and its newly formed portfolio company, Harvest Hill Beverage Co., acquired the Juicy Juice business from Nestlé USA.
Brynwood Partners VI L.P., Greenwich, Conn., and its newly formed portfolio company, Lightlife Foods, Inc., acquired Lightlife, one of ConAgra Foods' brands that include vegetarian-based burgers, hot dogs and other meatless refrigerated and frozen items.
