Star Refrigeration, the UK-based parent company of Azane Inc., Missoula, Mont., completed the manufacture and install of a new cold store facility for Lineage Logistics, Novi, Mich., at its new Great Haddon, UK, site.
The CI 21 fixed transmitter from GfG Instrumentation, Ann Arbor, Mich., features a charge carrier injection sensor, designed to improve upon current ammonia refrigeration detection methods.
The study demonstrated the ability of TES to mitigate the facility’s 13-hour peak period.

Cool Air, Inc., Ham Lake, Minn., introduced the new LBW-420-LEL ammonia leak detection device, designed for catastrophic leak detection and response before entering the lower explosion level (LEL).
The experiment leveraged remote sensing of ammonia by the hyperspectral remote sensing imager, Mako, to make maps of ammonia.
