Markus Wolf took over responsibility as Managing Director of Interroll Conveyor GmbH in Mosbach, Germany and both associated Global Centers of Excellence Conveyors and Pallet Handling. Most recently the 58-year-old Markus Wolf was the Chief Operating officer of a mid-sized company for driving shafts managing its seven production and assembly sites, located in Germany.
Wolf holds a diploma in Industrial Engineering and Economics and has been working for more than 25 years in the automotive industry at MANN+HUMMEL, a company producing air and liquid filter systems. Besides his 10 years of international experience in operations which includes assignments in Brazil, he has also a background in purchasing, sales, marketing and project management.
Interroll’s Mosbach plant will be fully operational in late June with approximately 250 employees based at the location. With around 19,000 square meters of floor space the plant is Interroll’s largest plant worldwide and it will focus on the production of Interoll’s modular conveyor platform (MCP), the modular pallet conveyor platform (MPP), Belt Curves as well as the Smart Pallet Mover (SPM).
In this position, which he took over in April 2021, Markus Wolf reports to Jens Strüwing, Executive Vice President Products & Technology and member of the Interroll Group Management. "With Markus Wolf as Managing Director, our new plant in Mosbach will be run by an experienced leader with proven expertise in larger-scale and fast growing operations,“ says Strüwing. “I look forward to working with Markus on creating a future with a thriving Mosbach plant and Global Centers of Excellence.”
