Thermo King, the transport refrigeration brand of global climate innovator Trane Technologies on March 21 announced plans for a $300 million expansion of its Greenville County, South Carolina facility. Nearly 300,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity will be added to sustain future growth, with the project expected to create 220 new jobs.
Thermo King will begin hiring immediately for key management roles in areas such as production, human resources, information technology and manufacturing engineering. Job fairs and new employee training events will take place this summer, and the site will be operational by mid-2023.
