Bubbies Ice Cream is debuting a new brand identity to more strongly connect consumers with the brand’s purpose: to take a trip to paradise with each bite of blissfully unexpected mochi ice cream.
The bright new look and redesigned brand elements include a new logo, vibrant color palette, and illustrations reminiscent of the brand’s Hawaiian heritage, which will start hitting shelves nationwide. The premium yet approachable new packaging creates a beautiful brand block on-shelf to improve the shelf set’s shop-ability and invite new consumers to the category.
“We’ve always been very proud of our humble beginnings in Hawaii; it’s where Bubbies was born, and our new brand identity continues to propel Bubbies forward with a nod to our heritage while inviting consumers to enjoy their own trip to ice cream paradise,” said Katie Cline, vice president of marketing at Bubbies Ice Cream. “Through extensive research we validated that shoppers are looking for better-for-you alternatives to favorite comfort foods, and unique ways to experience classic flavors. We’re so thrilled to be launching our new look and fresh innovations in our core portfolio.”
In addition to the rebrand, Bubbies announced the debut of several new flavors including new oat milk based mochi varieties, which include Plant-based Red, Ripe Strawberry, Plant-based Rich Chocolate, and Plant-based Alphonso Mango, and a new Cookies & Cream Mochi Ice Cream.
