NFRA, AMI elect new officers
Members of the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) and the American Meat Institute (AMI) elected new officers during the groups' recent annual business meetings.
NFRA's 2008-09 officers include Gary Spinazze, Nash Finch Co., as chairman; Travis Hubbard, Harris Teeter, as chairman-elect; Jeff Thomas, Michael Foods Inc., as secretary; Ray Tarnowski, Philadelphia Warehouse & Cold Storage; as treasurer; John Larsen, Safeway Inc., as vice chairman-refrigerated; and Bob Montgomery, Birds Eye Foods Inc., as vice chairman-frozen.
Those elected to lead AMI include Rod Brenneman, Seaboard Foods, as chairman; Jeffrey Ettinger, Hormel Foods Corp., as vice chairman; Dennis Vignieri, Kenosha Beef International, as treasurer; and Larry Odom, Odom's Tennessee Pride Sausage, as secretary.
