National Dairy LLC, Houston, said it purchasedPromised Land Dairy Distribution Inc., a San Antonio, Texas-based processor of all natural milks, half and half and heavy whipping cream. Terms of the deal -- managed by Victory Partners LLC -- were not disclosed.

"Promised Land Dairy is a highly regarded brand that enhances our product mix and fits extremely well with our distribution footprint," said Rick Beaman, National Dairy president. "Promised Land's products are sold primarily through supermarkets and other major stores in many of the states where we already have a strong distribution network."

Added Todd Lazenby, Victory Partners founder, "Now is an ideal time to transition the brand to a major processor with exceptional resources that can build upon the success of the Promised Land brand and grow it into a national brand."

Officials said Promised Land Dairy's management will remain in place.
