Palermo Villa Inc., Milwaukee, Wis., said it expects this month to break ground -- and by next April -- to begin building an addition to its frozen pizza plant. The move comes after Palermo purchased a 2.98-acre site adjacent to its current operation and headquarters.
“Back in 1995 our decision to invest in the Menomonee Valley was rooted in our love of Milwaukee and the promise of this newly developed area,” said Giacomo Fallucca, president and CEO of Palermo. “This expansion underscores the success we’ve enjoyed and our ongoing commitment to invest in our vibrant community.”
Fallucca said he expects to complete a phased expansion during the next three to five years. The additional space will accommodate an expanded production area, as well as employee locker rooms and parking.
Palermo’s currently employs more than 400 people at its 135,000-square-foot facility.
