Global meat and poultry processorKeystone Foods, West Conshohocken, Pa., said it promoted Chief Operating OfficerLarry S. McWilliamsto president and CEO. He succeeds Jerry Dean, who elected to retire after leading the company for 17 years.

McWilliams joined Keystone Foods in April 2011 from the Campbell Soup Company where he was president of Campbell's International Division. He also has served at The Coca-Cola Company, Pillsbury, General Foods and Del Monte.

Now part of Marfrig Group, Keystone Foods is even better positioned to serve customers around the world,” McWilliams said. “I look forward to putting my own experience to work for Marfrig and continuing to leverage Keystone Foods’ strengths to create greater opportunities.” 

Keystone Foods noted that its sales more than quadrupled during Dean's tenure. During that time, the company also built or acquired more than 32 global facilities. It now has 55 locations and more than 13,000 employees in 13 countries worldwide. Dean will continue to serve Keystone Foods in an advisory capacity.
