United States Cold Storage(USCS), Voorhees, N.J., said it is expanding its public refrigerated warehouse site in Turlock, Calif., about 70 miles east from San Francisco. Officials said Turlock serves the storage and distribution needs of a diverse agricultural community in California's northern and central valleys.

Phase two expansion should bring the operation to 9.5 million cubic feet of refrigerated storage space and approximately 39,500 pallet positions, said USCS.

USCS offers 194 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled warehouse and distribution center space in 34 facilities in 12 states nationwide.
