"With Romano's Macaroni Grill frozen entrees, you can put your favorite Italian dishes on the table in minutes, and you can feel good about the high quality, all natural ingredients."
Romano's Macaroni Grill, Dallas, is a casual restaurant chain owned by Golden Gate Capital, San Francisco, and Brinker's International Inc., Dallas.
General Mills says each of four new restaurant-inspired entrees is made with 100-percent, all-natural ingredients. New varieties include:
--Grilled Chicken Florentinepairs grilled chicken breast and spinach with tender farfalle pasta, tossed in a creamy-garlic and Parmesan cheese sauce.
--Basil Parmesanunites basil, the classic Italian herb; with another Italian classic, Parmesan cheese, to create a creamy sauce that is paired with grilled chicken breast, broccoli florets and tomatoes tossed with cavatappi pasta.
--Roasted Garlic Shrimp Scampistarts with juicy sauteed Shrimp, asparagus and red pepper strips, all in a bed of linguine and tossed in a roasted garlic, butter and white wine sauce.
--Spicy Italian Sausage Pomodorois combined with fire roasted red peppers and onions, tossed with rigatoni pasta and served with a rich and spicy tomato sauce made with crushed tomatoes, olive oil, red wine and herbs.
General Mills says each 24-ounce package is a complete meal for two. Manufacturer's suggest retail price is $7.99.
