Talk about the best of both worlds. A new all-natural probiotic yogurt line from Lowell International Foods, Franklin Park, Ill., combines nature-ripened European fruits with farm-fresh rBST-free milk from Wisconsin.

These non-fat and whole milk European-Style Yogurts are available in eight fruit flavors, including Black Currant, Plum, Strawberry, Raspberry, Peach, Blueberry, Vanilla and Cherry, as well as Plain (whole milk only).

Lowell also offers a multi-grain version in six flavors: Apple/Pear, Plum, Strawberry, Apricot, Raspberry and Peach. Officials say the new offerings are packed with gut-friendly active live-cultures and are free of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. They are packaged in 6-ounce containers that retail for about $1.49 each.
