Yuengling is no longer just a summertime beer option. That's because Yuengling’s Ice Cream, Orwigsburg, Pa., is set to re-launch its storied ice cream early in 2014.
“We are extremely proud to be reintroducing such a beloved product,” says David Yuengling, president. “Started by my great grandfather Frank Yuengling during Prohibition, our ice cream brand is steeped in history. We plan to build on the family legacy, maintaining the highest standards of quality and value.”
Ice cream flavors include Vanilla, Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Black and Tan (chocolate and caramel ice cream), Vanilla Fudge Chunk with Pretzels, Espresso Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Marshmallow, Root Beer Float and Mint Chocolate Chip. The ice cream will be sold in grocery stores from Pittsburgh to New Jersey, and from Scranton, Pa., to northern Virginia.
