High Liner Foods, Canada, added the Ultimate Salmon Burger under its FPI brand portfolio.
The new burger is made from a premium blend of Atlantic and Wild Pacific Salmon with no fillers or additives. Crafted to present a made-from-scratch, hand-smashed appearance, the burger is available in 2-, 4- and 6-ounce sizes, portioned for slider, sandwich and entrée applications. The Ultimate Salmon Burger is also a good source of protein and Omega 3s, contains 0 grams trans fats and is flash frozen, fully prepared and ready to flat grill, pan fry, bake or char grill.
"With customer demand for healthier menu options on the rise and salmon's position as the ultimate healthy protein choice, the time is ideal for a signature quality salmon burger that will differentiate operator's menus,” says Carolyn Piscatelli, FPI brand manager.
