Ehrmann Commonwealth Dairy, Brattleboro, Vt., launched YoYummy, the newest addition to its Green Mountain Creamery yogurt line.
Developed with kids in mind, YoYummy is a natural, low-fat yogurt packaged in a squeezable pouch. In fact, it is said to be the first fresh yogurt in a convenient packaging format with live and active cultures available in the United States.
Available in the yogurt section, the line includes Strawberry, Mixed Berry, Strawberry-Banana and Cotton Candy. The yogurt is made with Grade A rBST-free Vermont milk, real fruit and berries and 10% less sugar.
"At Commonwealth Dairy, we believe the fewer ingredients in a product, the better," says Thomas Moffitt, chief executive officer. "Applesauce and baby food have been available in pouches for quite a while, but YoYummy is the first yogurt with live and active cultures available in this packaging in the U.S. We're excited to provide parents and kids with another healthy, delicious, incredibly convenient snack alternative."
YoYummy comes in 4-packs of 3.5-ounce pouches for a suggested retail price of $4.99.
