Transpro Freight, Canada, announced plans to expand its warehouse operations. In partnership with Canada-based Go Smooth Transport, Transpro acquired the warehouse assets of Trigistix Warehousing and Distribution, also in Canada, and North American Distribution Logistics. The new assets will be housed under one roof on Tomken Road, Mississauga. Transpro’s warehousing capacity stands at nearly 100,000 square feet of AIB-certified space.

“We’re very excited about acquiring these new assets,” says Frank Prosia, president of Transpro. “Transpro is constantly looking for ways to move forward with our customers and enrich our core service offering. This acquisition complements our existing fleet and assets, so we are in an excellent position to service all our customers' requirements.”

The facility on Tomken Road is a combination cross-dock and warehouse, and is minutes from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. The facility offers full pick, pack and ship solutions as well as a Gold Level pest control program, EDI capabilities and other value-added services.

Transpro’s new warehouse facility also acts as a distribution management center, offering expedited FTL and LTL pickup and delivery services and refrigerated and temperature-controlled validated transportation services with a range of specialized equipment including 24-foot straight trucks and 53-foot tractor trailers with tailgates, load bars and strapping.
