Fabri-Kal, Kalamazoo, Mich., introduced a new set of durable, non-cracking mushroom tills made from a blend of high-density polyethylene and calcium carbonate. The result is a till that holds mushrooms more gently than other rigid containers, ensuring product integrity.

Durable tills make the entire process more efficient, from filling to wrapping and packaging. These tills offer 25% less plastic than previous mushrooms tills, which equates to a reduced use of petroleum-based virgin materials taken from the earth’s precious resources.

The reduction in petroleum-based plastics also results in fewer CO2 emissions.

Available in three sizes, these tills are recyclable in communities that accept HDPE containers.
