Nestlé USA, Glendale, Calif., expanded its Skinny Cow brand to include new chocolate-dipped ice cream bars and ice cream candy bar.
“It’s a breakthrough year for Skinny Cow. We are thrilled to be sweetening our already delectable lineup with a contemporary, stylish new look and an entirely new collection of tasty innovations—a new category introduction in iced coffee, a decadent truffle-layered candy bar and the first-ever low-fat ice cream bar in our category to be fully dipped in rich chocolate,” says Seema Sundar, Skinny Cow brand manager. “Available early 2015, the new Skinny Cow treats will inspire you to turn everyday moments into impossibly good indulgences.”
Skinny Cow chocolate-dippied ice cream bars are said to be the first-ever ice cream bar fully dipped in chocolate and made with low-fat ice cream. Available in Vanilla Almond Crunch, Double Caramel Swirl and Triple Chocolate Ripple, each bar boasts under 190 calories. They can be found in the frozen section of grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of 45.49 for a 5-pack box.
Skinny Cow ice cream candy bars come in a new Mochaccino Crunch flavor, offering a blend of coffee and chocolate. This new flavor can be found in the frozen section of participating stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.49 for a 5-pack box.
