Cloverleaf Cold Storage, Sioux City, Iowa, completed upgrades to rail siding servicing at its Benson, N.C., warehouse to allow for additional capacity to handle diverted export traffic due to West Coast port slowdowns.
Cloverleaf Cold Storage regularly handles over a quarter of a billion pounds per year of refrigerated rail freight at 15 facilities throughout the central and eastern United States. Cloverleaf’s four southeastern warehouses are all rail served and are strategically located to provide access to all of the region’s deepwater ports, including Norfolk, Charleston, Wilmington and Savannah.
