Tillamook County Creamery Association, Tillamook, Ore., released Really Thin Slices, delivering all the flavor and about half the calories of its deli sliced cheese.

This thinner-sliced cheese is made with all-natural ingredients, the highest quality milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones and boasts only 45 calories per slice. It comes in Medium Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Pepper Jack and Swiss varieties.

“We always strive to provide solutions to our customers’ needs and are pleased to now offer a product for cheese lovers who are looking for another portion-size option,” says Joe Prewett, director of product management and innovation. “We’re excited to deliver the taste, texture and quality of Tillamook Cheese in this more convenient cut.”

Tillamook Really Thin Slices are currently available for national distribution in a shingle pack and can be found at major retailers in the West beginning this spring.

Tillamook also adds Smoked Provolone Slices to its lineup of natural cheese offerings. This delicate, semi-soft provolone is smoked naturally for six hours with hickory and replaces Tillamook Provolone Slices. New Smoked Provolone Slices can be found in 8-ounce and 2-pound deli slices and 12-ounce thick slice packs in cheese cases at major retailers across the West.
