Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich., expanded its Eggo waffles lineup to include gluten-free options.
“Gluten-free foods in grocery stores sometimes sacrifice taste and texture compared with their original versions,” says AnneMarie Suarez-Davis, vice president of marketing and innovation. “We’re excited to offer new Eggo gluten-free waffles, so everyone in the family, including those who avoid gluten, can enjoy a delicious and wholesome Eggo breakfast.”
Available in Original and Cinnamon, the new Eggo gluten-free waffles contain eight vitamins and minerals and are an excellent source of calcium and iron, with 25% daily value of each. They’re also made with whole grains, 15 grams per 70-gram serving. They are available nationwide in the frozen food aisle of grocery stores for a suggested retail price of $3.29.
