As freight and logistics outsourcing becomes a more popular and more practical solution for both large and small companies, Choptank Transport is once again breaking ground on a 10,000-square-foot addition that will mirror its 2011 expansion project. The expansion will create an additional 120 sales and logistics positions.

“My thanks go out to our phenomenal employees, customers and carriers that have made our growth possible,” says Geoff Turner, president and CEO. “I’d also like to acknowledge the willingness of state and local officials to assist in helping Choptank grow.”

Choptank Transport first expanded its office space in 2007, adding 5,600 square feet on to the existing A.W. Sisk & Sons building. In 2011, Choptank Transport added 9,000 square feet with 120 new sales and logistics seats.
