AIT Worldwide Logistics, Itasca, Ill., added a new office in Rochester, N.Y., to its expanding global network.
The 28,000-square-foot facility specializes in Asian imports to the United States via Canadian ports of entry, vendor-managed inventories (VMI) and foreign trade zone operations. It is also said to be the only public container freight station in the area.
The new location will be led by branch manager Tom Iuppa, who joins AIT with nearly three decades of international supply chain experience.
“I am proud to welcome Tom and his team to AIT. Our company is extremely passionate about our customers and the quality of service that we provide for them all over the world,” says Ray Fennelly, executive vice president. “Tom is a like-minded professional, and we are delighted to have him aboard as we formally introduce the AIT brand to the Rochester market.”
The Rochester location is the 47th facility in AIT’s global network.
