Crystal Farms, Lake Mills, Wis., added Garlic Jack and two new snack value packs to its expanding line of cheese offerings.
The new snack value packs entail Spiral String Cheese, a twist of mozzarella and cheddar, and a variety pack of classic Mozzarella String Cheese and Marble Jack Sticks.
Made with real garlic, Garlic Jack—a pairing of garlic with Monterey jack cheese—is said to be the first natural garlic cheese to be sold in the dairy section. It will be available in block and shredded varieties.
“Consumers are looking for portable snack solutions that assist in health management. Cheese snacks provide that convenient, naturally protein-rich solution,” says Katie Egan, senior brand manager. “Crystal Farms continues to offer consumers new flavors that help make mundane meals special. Garlic Jack is our latest addition to provide mainstream variety in the dairy set.”
