AIT Worldwide Logistics relocated its Kansas City, Mo., office to the historic Garment District.
AIT-Kansas City’s recent growth necessitated the move, according to David Niday, station manager. With eight times the square footage of the previous location, the downtown office will accommodate the larger team being hired on to handle the influx of new business.
“This building is a landmark and has a nostalgic feel,” adds Niday. “The interior boasts a modern open floor plan, and as we continue to grow, there’s additional space above our floor to expand further.”
“We extend our congratulations to the AIT-Kansas City team as they relocate to their new home in the market,” says Ray Fennelly, executive vice president of the Itasca, Ill.-based international transportation and logistics provider. “This move is a testament to their many successes over the last several years. We look forward to their continued growth and support of our Kansas City-area customers.”
The new AIT-Kansas City office provides immediate access to four major highways, and is just a 20-minute drive from the Kansas City International Airport.
