Matrix Design, LLC, South Elgin, Ill., opened an additional production facility at 1635 Shanahan Drive in South Elgin. The 17,000-square-foot building will more than double capacity, enabling the manufacturer to produce more robotics.

“Having this new space a few steps away from our main plant will enable our engineers, builders and applications team to remain closely knit as product flows through operations,” says Jack Chiappe, production manager.

“As the demand for automation continues to grow at such a rapid pace, this new capacity gives us the ability to better serve our customers by reducing lead times for future projects. We are also looking forward to the new opportunities the additional space will allow,” adds Jeff Bennett, vice president of sales and marketing.
