Litehouse, Inc., Sandpoint, Idaho, expanded its Simply Artisan Reserve brand with Simple Seasons, what is said to be the first real, finely crumbled soft cheese in a convenient, no waste, shakeable glass jar.

To add Simple Seasons to any dish, just flip one of the two side flaps on the glass jar to sprinkle a little or a lot of feta or blue cheese. Simple Seasons boasts just five ingredients—milk, salt, culture, enzymes and an agent to prevent caking.

“We are excited to share this innovation that allows consumers to easily and conveniently enjoy soft cheese without creating waste,” says Margi Gunter, brand manager. “Now with a simple flick of the wrist, you can add just the right amount of cheese to everything from burgers to salads and soups.”

Simple Seasons comes in Blue Cheese and Feta flavors, and is available in specialty deli cases for a suggested retail price of $5.49 per jar.
