United Salad Co. and Duck Delivery Produce, Inc., both of Portland, Ore., concluded the final phase of their expansion to their fresh produce warehouse in Portland. The additional 50,000-square-foot space increases overall capacity by over 30%, and includes a state-of-the-art refrigerated storage space and additional parking for 75 semi-trucks and 100 spaces for employee parking.
The expansion project is dedicated to facilitating the growth of their customer base, as well as increasing the distribution of USDA-certified organic fruits and vegetables. The increased warehouse space also includes a separate expanded organic facility, which ensures the organic produce remains contaminate-free.
