Land O’Frost, Inc., Munster, Ind., introduced a second, smaller package size for its Simply Delicious lunchmeat line—an 8-ounce portion size to complement the brand’s original 13-ounce package.

“As a family owned and operated company, we make it a point to always listen to our customers, which allows us to stay at the forefront of category innovation,” says Keith Hill, director of brand management. “In this case, our regular dialogue with health-conscious consumers from smaller households led us to the insights that drove this product line expansion.” 

Like the 13-ounce offering, Land O’Frost’s 8-ounce version comes in Hickory Smoked Ham, Honey Smoked Chicken Breast, Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast and Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast, as well as naturally smoked Honey Roasted Turkey Breast, Black Forest Ham and Honey Cured Ham.
