Misha Quark, New York, launched a new line of spoonable cheese that delivers up to 17 grams of protein per cup and just 2% fat.
Flavors include Strawberry Rhubarb, Key Lime, Blueberry, Original and Vanilla Bean Coconut.
“From the very beginning, we started out with the belief that our quark had to deliver on the delicious, protein-packed and truly fulfilling snacking experience, while at the same time being made as sustainably as possible,” says Kamilya Abilova, co-founder. “The reaction from retailers and consumers to the new flavors and packaging has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Misha cups are made with 50% less plastic than the average container and are completely recyclable.
Misha Quark is available in supermarkets and specialty stores in the New York metropolitan area and through Wegmans and www.freshdirect.com. Each 5.3-ounce cup boasts a suggested retail price of $2.99.
