Good Karma Foods, Boulder, Colo., launched a line of dairy-free yogurt made with flaxmilk.
These rich and spoonable yogurts deliver 5-6 grams of plant-based protein, 800 mg omega-3s and seven live and active cultures in every serving. Plus, these dairy-free yogurts are free of all major allergens, including dairy, soy and tree nuts.
“Good Karma Foods isn’t just our name; it’s the inspiration for everything we do,” says Doug Radi, chief executive officer. “Our hope is that by expanding our offerings to include plant-based yogurts that deliver a mighty nutritional bundle and a surprisingly good taste and texture that’ll we’ll inspire goodness families can’t help but pass along.”
The dairy-free yogurts come in Blueberry, Strawberry, Vanilla, Plain and Raspberry, and are available in select Kroger regions for a suggested retail price of $1.69-1.99 for a 6-ounce cup.
Good Karma Foods also announced improvements to its drinkable yogurts launched earlier this year. The changes include an updated product descriptor from dairy-free probiotic to probiotic drinkable yogurt, helping shoppers more clearly understand the product. Additionally, the drinkable yogurts have been reformulated to contain reduced sugar by 4-7 grams per serving, depending on the flavor, and the packaging now includes a dairy-free printed cap and clearer callouts to being plant-based.
