Publix Super Markets, Lakeland, Fla., announced a 40,000-square-foot expansion at its Publix Atlanta Dairy Plant in Dacula, Ga.

Located at 445 Hurricane Trail, the $48.7 million Publix Atlanta Dairy Plant expansion will bring a projected 44 new jobs, and include installation of specialized equipment to enable the production of the company’s extended shelf life (ESL) product line. This expansion will bring the total square footage for the dairy facility to approximately 240,000 square feet.
