Foundry Foods, Oakland, Calif., introduced Sweet Habit, a low-fat ice cream line as part of the Terra Food + Agtech Accelerator program.
Sweet Habit boasts 70-80 calories and 5 grams of protein per half-cup serving.
"We know that consumers are looking for choices when it comes to what they eat," says Kerry Hopkins, brand manager for Sweet Habit. Sweet Habit comes in the following varieties:
- What the Caramel. Caramel low-fat ice cream with gooey, ooey, caramel-y swirl.
- Mint My Cookies. Mint low-fat ice cream with chunks of chewy chocolate cookie.
- PB & Fudge. Peanut butter low-fat ice cream swirled with fudgy fudge sauce.
- Cinnamon Bunned. Cinnamon low-fat ice cream with creamy icing mixed in.
Sweet Habit is available at Kroger, Target and Meijer for a suggested retail price of $5.99.
