Nasoya, Ayer, Mass., introduced new vegan tofu dumplings.
The Tofu Vegetable kind is packed with tofu, mushrooms, carrots, bok choy, green onions, ginger and sesame oil, while the Thai Basil option is filled with tofu, green peas, carrots, red bell peppers and basil. Sold refrigerated, both products can be pan-fried or steamed in just minutes.
"We are excited to bring consumers another great tasting, plant-based product they can feel good about eating with our perfected vegan dumplings," says Ellen Kim, brand and marketing strategist. "Nasoya is committed to making plant-based protein as simple and accessible as possible, and vegan dumplings are a welcomed transformation to our wide range of fresh and convenient options."
Nasoya's vegan dumplings are USDA-certified organic and contain 6-7 grams of plant-protein per serving size. They can be found in the refrigerated case of the produce section at grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.99.
