Dot Family Holdings (DFH), the St. Louis, Mo.-based owner and operator of Dot Foods, acquired TAGG Logistics, an e-commerce fulfillment platform headquartered in St. Louis, Mo. DFH will provide oversight and governance of the company, while TAGG’s current leadership team will continue to manage operations.
TAGG offers nationwide B2B and B2C e-commerce fulfillment, distribution and packaging services. It manages 140 employees out of four facilities in Reno, Nev., and one in Philadelphia, Pa.
“E-commerce is a rapidly growing industry where we see great opportunity,” says Heath Hunter, vice president, corporate development of DFH. “TAGG is a successful and growing business and is a great fit within DFH’s portfolio of companies. For now, it will be business as usual at TAGG, but there is the potential for collaboration between Dot Foods and TAGG down the road.”
“Dot Family Holdings’ business experience and resources complement TAGG,” adds Tod Yazdi, chief executive officer of TAGG. “Dot has extensive experience in logistics and distribution, and our new partners bring a lot of resources and expertise that will help TAGG continue to grow.”
