Westby Cooperative Creamery, Westby, Wis., expanded its organic brand with the addition of organic butter.
The new organic Sweet Cream butter is lightly salted with Celtic Sea Salt and contains 85% butterfat, ideal for cooking, baking and spreading and melting on foods.
“The demand for organic dairy food products has grown consistently over the past several years,” says Pete Kondrup, general manager. “With the successful launch of our first Westby Organic brand products in 2017, the market was demanding more. We’re delighted to meet this growing demand with the introduction of our new Westby Organic brand butter product. We invite consumers to take home country goodness from the family dairy farms of Westby Cooperative Creamery in each of our many award-winning dairy products. Initially, this new butter product will be available for sale and distribution to retail grocery stores and foodservice outlets only in Wisconsin and Minnesota.”
This new butter is Grade-A, non-GMO and USDA-certified organic, and comes in 1-pound containers for retail and 40- and 55-pound boxes for foodservice and food ingredients.
