Maple Leaf Foods, Canada, launched Greenleaf Foods, a plant-based food manufacturer. Supporting its brands, Field Roast Grain Meat Co., Seattle, Wash., and Lightlife Foods, Turner Falls, Mass., Greenleaf plans to build a robust portfolio of plant-based brands and products.
Greenleaf will operate as a wholly-owned, independent subsidiary of Maple Leaf Foods.
