The Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), Tillamook, Ore., introduced Tillamook Cheeseboards, a combination of Tillamook cheese, olive oil crackers and artisanal fruit spreads.
“Lack of time can mean we’re left reaching for sub-par, grab-and-go snacks to mindlessly munch on during the day,” says Sibel Candemir, vice president of categories. “We believe some snacks shouldn’t be hurried, and that’s why we created Tillamook Cheeseboards. By pairing up our naturally aged cheeses with premium crackers and specialty spreads, our goal was to take snacking from mindless eating to a mindful experience.”
Tillamook Cheeseboards come in the following flavor combinations:
- Sharp Berry Crunch, with sharp white cheddar cheese, marionberry spread and rosemary crackers.
- Spicy Berry Bite, with Pepper Jack cheese, marionberry spread and multigrain crackers.
- Smoky Apple Crisp, with smoked medium cheddar cheese, apple spread and olive oil crackers.
- Sharp Strawberry Heat, with sharp white cheddar cheese, spicy strawberry spread and rosemary crackers.
The Cheeseboards are available in grocery stores in Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; Spokane, Wash.; and Denver, Colo., with plans to expand into additional markets throughout 2019.
The Cheeseboards are also the first new product to be released under Tillamook’s updated logo and packaging.
