Walmart, Bentonville, Ark., announced plans to open what is said to be the first-of-its-kind pickup point located in Lincolnwood, Ill.

The Lincolnwood Walmart Pickup Point will fulfill online orders for groceries and other products in a matter of minutes.

“The Lincolnwood Walmart Pickup Point gives busy customers the ability to shop how, when and where they want, without having to leave their cars or homes,” says Nicole Olson, store manager. “Our customers know we have everyday low prices; now we can also save customers precious time.”

This is Walmart’s largest self-standing grocery and pickup delivery location in the United States. This new facility represents an evolving retail shopping experience, where physical and digital meet to better serve customers.
