Butterball donated 500,000 meals to The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina today. The donation will help feed those most impacted by COVID-19 in the communities where Butterball team members live and work.

Carter Crain, Director of Food Partnerships for the Food Bank says, “We’re hearing from our partner agencies every day how much the need has increased, especially for community members who have just lost jobs. The support of Butterball, throughout the year and especially during times of crisis, means that people have consistent access to nutritious protein. We’re so incredibly thankful for their partnership.”

Butterball has a longstanding relationship with The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Most recently, Butterball donated 400 Butterball turkeys on behalf of North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper to feed families in need on Thanksgiving.
