High Peaks, a premium, all-natural and plant-based sausage brand, has launched in the United States to meet increased demand for meat alternatives. The sausage brand will introduce four flavors in multiple regions across the country, with plans to continue retail expansion throughout 2020.
. The company, which supports Johnsonville’s fresh sausage business, purchased the building in August 2015, after the facility it previously operated at 104 Division St. was destroyed by a fire in May 2015.

Williams Sausage Co., Inc., Union City, Tenn., purchased the remaining 50% interest in a joint venture with J.C. Potter Sausage Co., also of Union City, Tenn., from partner Atlantic Premium Brands.
