The new facility, an existing warehouse transformed into a 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art CFIA federally approved food processing facility, signifies a meaningful financial investment in Fine Choice Foods’ infrastructure.

The 217,540-square-foot temperature controlled food production and distribution facility is occupied by Safeway, an agriculture and food manufacturing company.

The $50.5 million project marks the 13^th distribution center for Dot Foods in the U.S.

Located at the Gordon Food Service distribution center in Kenosha, Square Roots grows a wide variety of fresh greens, including herbs like Basil, Dill, Parsley, and Cilantro; microgreens; and salad mixes. 

In collaboration with private equity firm, Cannon Capital, the company acquired the Original Chipwich trademark in 2017 and has since updated the ingredients and been distributing the product in stores across the country.
