Graeter’s Ice Cream, a family owned craft ice cream maker since 1870, released its much-anticipated annual March Mystery Flavor on Friday. The flavor, selected from Graeter’s 2023 Summer Bonus Flavors, will be available in scoop shops, online and in select grocery stores.
Graeter’s Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream is made with tart lemon candies, crunchy pie crust pieces and lemon marshmallow ice cream. This indulgent flavor represents Graeter’s commitment to craft quality and, like all of Graeter’s other flavors, is handcrafted in the brand’s classic French Pots in small 2 ½ gallon batches.
"Our Mystery Flavor unveil is a favorite time of year for all of us at Graeter’s and for our fans," said Chip Graeter, fourth-generation owner of Graeter’s Ice Cream. "This year’s Lemon Meringue Pie was a renowned favorite during our test period last summer. This flavor is a delectable take on the classic dessert we all know and love, and is sure to be a new go-to for our discerning guests.“
