Interstate Cold Storage, a provider of cold storage warehousing, has invested in six state-of-the-art lift trucks aimed at streamlining processes at its Columbus II facility, in Columbus, Ohio. The company also invested in two lift trucks earlier this year at ICS’ Columbus I facility.
“Everyone at the Columbus II facility and across Interstate Cold Storage is excited for the investment of six new forklifts,” says Don Chambers, ICS director of operations. “These new forklifts will help keep operations moving and shipments on schedule. These will also be crucial to truck drivers coming through the warehouse, and we’re eager to see them in action.”
Chambers also noted the upgrades in warehouse equipment reiterate the company’s commitment to ongoing improvements and operational excellence.
Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, ICS operates five facilities across Ohio and Indiana.
