Frozen food processors elected Ray Walker, Patterson Vegetable Co., as 2009 chairman of the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and members also greeted new association President Kraig Naasz during AFFI's 2009 Frozen Food Convention in Monterey, Calif. The four-day event concludes this Wednesday, Feb. 25. AFFI's other new member officers include Edward Flanagan, Jasper Wyman & Son, as first vice chairman and Mark Dunn, J.R. Simplot Co., as second vice chairman. James Matthews, H.J. Heinz Co., becomes immediate past chairman.
