Wisconsin media say a new company, Jaytina LLC, expects by this October to build a $7 million to $9 million appetizer processing plant in Plover, Wis. Reports are that the 100,000-square-foot operation will focus on better-for-you products and employ as many as 100 people during the next three years. . . . The Eau Claire (Wis.) Leader-Telegram said ConAgra Foods expects by December to complete a $28 million expansion at its Menomonie, Wis., facility. Officials said the expansion will bolster Snack Pack pudding production. The facility also produces Swiss Miss hot chocolate and refrigerated pudding. . . .  Turkey processor Butterball LLC, Garner, N.C., said its Huntsville, Ark., plant achieved 3 million hours worked without a lost-time injury.
