Sartori Cheese, Plymouth, Wis., released their limited-edition Peppermint BellaVitano cheese in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Sartori will donate a portion of all proceeds from this cheese to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This artisan cheese is crafted by hand-rubbing an aged BellaVitano Gold wheel with crushed Peppermint candy. The rich, fruitiness of the BellaVitano works well with the sweet, minty notes from the candies, creating a one-of-a-kind cheese with a crumbly texture and tangy bite.
"October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we felt our pink-hued cheese was a great tribute to that cause," says Chad Vincent, chief marketing officer. "It's the second year Sartori has joined with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and they have been wonderful partners. It's so rewarding to see our retailers and consumers support the initiative.”
This cheese will be available at specialty retailers across the United States in October only.
